My first time actually seeing a car hit 100,000. Shame I wasn't going a little faster in order to get my Sports Almanac.

3,000 RPM exactly at 80 mph? That’s some sweet cruising engine speed.

I'm still mad that they replaced the temp gauge with the idiotic MPG gauge that both of my newer Subarus have.

It’s a Subaru, so that’s actually about 77/78 mph ;)

Definitely. I've owned Subarus from the 90s through the 2012 Gen; this is my favorite gauge cluster (of any car, really).

Modern subarus don't have a water temp gauge?

I love it. So clean... right colors. I also like the parking light switch on the column that Subaru used for ages. Now its some parts-bin stalk thing... who knows where it comes from maybe Nissan like the window switches.

Nope. Just a blue light when it is cold and a red warning light when it gets too hot. Where it should be they stuck a silly MPG gauge that just flops around whenever you press the gas pedal. The WRX and some of the higher trims may have an option to bring one up on the display on the cowl above the radio, but neither my Forester or Outback have one. Here’s the MPG thing below the tach on my Forester. Sorry for potato pic.

Still miss my Dads 2005 2.5GT Wagon. Had over 120k on it and the factory turbo was beginning to go.

The one below the tach is very BMWish. Both my current cars have a digital instant MPG display. I wonder if they get some sort of credit toward rated fuel efficiency for those things.

Maybe. It seems like everyone has one My least favorite of all is the previous generation Camry that has a little green leaf that says ECO in it light up among all the warning lights when it decides you are driving economically. I had several as rentals and it drove me nuts seeing it pop up in my peripheral vision thinking it was a warning light. Maybe if you owned the car you'd get used to it, but I hate it. It made me drive like a jerk just to keep it from coming on.
